Keeping the family afloat with one hubby's income and one Mom with incurable cancer.
goal for 2020:
Live to see 2021.
Raise money for cure research.
I beat the odds. I am in remission for stage 4 kidney cancer, thanks to a new immunotherapy.
This was my end of life bucket list:
To do:
1. Binder with all relevant financial info for hubby needs updated
3. finish Book 3 of trilogy (DONE!)
4. Write more books (DONE)
5. Take kids to Hawaii (DONE!)
6. Raise at least $25,000 for new kidney cancer research. $3,500 raised
Yahoo for to consecutive NS days. I've figured out our preferred gas outlet does an unadvertised discount Thursdays so combined that with my regular Thurs. grocery shopping. Years ago we made a choice to do errands on the way home Combining the three makes sense, forces me to list errands which has the added benefit of a planned route. It really squashes any tendency for impulse buys because of lists for food and small tasks plus I'll still need to off load and put away groceries, get dinner etc. Enough!
In practical terms the more organized we've been the less spending seems necessary.
We go some days and not spend anything and then it seems to hit all at once. But, I think part of it because we try to make one big trip and get what we need instead of driving each day.
