It's THAT time again...

Despite the drought, the tomatoes seem to be fruiting just fine. Tonight was the first night of making and canning sauce. I just wish all the tomatoes turned red all at once, so I could just do the canning in one day!

    I posted a recipe for roasted tomato sauce on my blog. It's easy and delicious and you can freeze the tomatoes to roast later. I love it!

    We'll probably have to do this 2 or 3 more times, judging from the still green tomatoes. It was enough to make 11 pints of pasta sauce!
