Dad is gone.

Well, it happened. dad died this morning. We only found out he had cancer a week before father's day. I am officially 33 years old, missing a dad, and have a three month old baby, his only grandchild. I am so sad, but holding together for the sake of my mom, who is putting up a brave front but finally cried a little bit for the first time today.

    Gosh, so sorry to hear. Such a horrible loss. Prayers to you and your family. He has been called home to a better place with our Heavenly Father. Take care of yourself.

    I am sorry for your loss. This is a tough time. No joke. Just put one step in front of the other, pick up the pieces and you will begin to develop a new routine. And DONT MAKE ANY FINANCIAL DECISIONS FOR A LONG TIME! Your head is not clear right now, you are not in the frame of mind to decide on anything.

    So very sorry for the loss of your dad. Prayers and thoughts go out to you and your mom and family. Tell your little one about him a lot and when the baby is grown up, the stories will have kept your father there all along. We did that with our DD who reminded us so much of Hubby's deceased sister. Now, she talks of her even though she never got to meet her. She is part of the heritage of our family that we passed on to her.

    I know it's little comfort, but, at least he got to see your baby before he died. (I was fortunate enough that my DD enjoyed her grandparents for 4 wonderful years)

    I'm so sorry. It must be a huge burden of grief to add to the stress of new motherhood. Hang in there and come vent to us whenever you need it!

    he will help you with this great loss. Remember Jesus feels our pain also. Pray for strength and peace. I just loss my
    sweet sister in Feb. She just found out she had cancer and
    died within three weeks. I am peaceful with it with Gods' help but I still cry. I miss her she was my "bud". She was
    not even sick until she found out CANCER. God be with you
