I've been sneaking around clipping and filing coupons. Hubby didn't know about it until he caught me printing some off the internet last night.
I didn't want to deal with his eye rolling, and I do most of the shopping, so I kept it on the down low. Anyway, I was shocked, because now he's totally into it. This morning, he was rattling off a list of name brands we really like and asking if I could go on their web sites and look for coupons.
No more sneaking around!

But my husband does roll his eyes when I ask him to use the reusable grocery bags--to be green and to save 5 cents.

Hubby is a big picture guy. We talk about what we want and our goals, but he delegates making it happen and managing our money to me, because he isn't too good with details. So for things like couponing, etc., I've always found it best to just do it, not talk about it. He doesn't read as much financial stuff as I do, so when I try to distill my reasonings for things into one or two sentences, it sometimes sounds crazy to him!
