Coupon adventure starts tomorrow.

January 3rd, 2011 at 05:08 am

I'm feeling emboldened by my recent sign up at couponmom.com and my desire to coupon, coupon, coupon.

Tomorrow, I am going to try my hand at a couple of CVS deals.

Namely, $1 marcal paper towels with $1 coupon = free

Buy 2 revlon tools (the ones I want are less than $3.50 and I need them--toenail clippers!), get $7 in ECB back= free

And, buy one get one on my favorite nuts. I have a coupon for the one I "buy" ,and plan to pay for the rest with the ECB.

We'll see how it goes. I'm skeptical and nervous!!

You will do fine! And I'm betting you'll get hooked!

A little tip for the buy one get one free nuts... You are getting two cans, so you can use two coupons. Really. The two coupons are what makes it a great deal!

It's fun once you get going. One of my goals is to keep better track of my Walgreen's Register Rewards. I dashed out at 8 last night to use up expiring rewards. But I got all January's birthday cards free!

Good luck--and don't get discouraged if they're out of some things.

Oh geesh, two coupons??? Really?? Oh well. I used one. But then again, I only had one. It was still a good deal, two cans for $5.49 total, when they cost me about $6.50 each normally at the store.

They were out of the toenail clippers, and they didn't carry Marcal. I may try another CVS tomorrow.

It is fun! I look at it as one of my hobbies. I need to get my but to CVS today. I have a $3.00 off $20.00 or more and $9 in CVS bucks to use.

Be sure to sign up with an e-mail at the stores you are going to use.

Okay, amateur questions you guys. If you have a $3 off $20, is that $20 BEFORE all of your coupons and CVS bucks? Or can you not use it if you are using other discounts?

It's $20 before any coupons. Also, remember to ask for rain checks on items they are out of. You will get the sales price and ECBs. I love CVS
