I am seriously feeling the deadline pressure. Little Sid is supposed to arrive between Nov. 13 and 19 (hopefully not earlier).
I managed to knock some stuff off the to-do list this week:
We managed to get oil changes and new wipers on both cars, a muffler and new brakes, turn signal bulb, and serpentine belt on the cars that needed them.
We also got all the ceiling fans installed. The plumber is coming tomorrow to reseat the toilet on the floating floor (we had been unsucessful).
The giant pile of firewood is chopped, and the chimney has been swept.
I finally got my H1N1 vaccine, and have heard there is a clinic for babies next week so I can take Bean in for his.
Only things left on the to-do are seasonal flu shots for me and hubby. (Bean had his today), and H1N1 for bean and hubby.
Then, I hope, we will be ready for baby No. 2.
Of course, it would be nice to get most of the Christmas shopping out of the way too. I've done some, but getting all of it finished seems darn near impossible.
I'll also have to hope I can stock the freezer and pantry with easy to make foods before I go into labor. Last time, I felt like I was starving all the time, and I had never seemed to have the right food on hand. Not this time!
Getting all the ducks in a row before baby arrives

I've enjoyed reading about your feathering of your nest as you prepare for Lil Sid! And, have been mightily impressed by your household construction skills. Would love to see pics when things slow down for you.
Get that food in the freezer & pantry! Then have a joyous delivery of Lil Sid and know that I'm praying for your precious family.
Take EXTRA GOOD care of the new Mom for us!

I hope everything goes great for you. I too have been majorly impressed by all you managed to get done around the house! So far I haven't had a 2nd-trimester burst of nest-feathering--but then I'm a naturally slothlike person so I'm not too surprised.

The worst part about all the projects is that every single one of them has taken twice as long as I expected and each one came with more headaches than expected.
For example, converting to ceiling fans-- the fans we special ordered turned out to be too tall, so hubby hit his head on them when he walked by, so I had to have the electrician come back a second time AFTER I returned the special order fans, went searching for smaller, flush mount fans, and had those ordered. A job I thought I was prepared for and should have been an easy one-day thing took two weeks.
And today, the plumber informed us that the reason our toilet leaked was because of a hairline fracture on the bottom, not an error in the wax ring or seating. So, I had to go buy a new toilet today. And, alas, the plumber has to come back a second time to finish the job.
See? everything is more complicated than it should be!

Woo hoo, there's still some hope for me then!
